Specific Ingredient Focus

Why Safflower Oil?

Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil has been used for many ailments, including baldness and hair loss. The main chemical compounds of Safflower Oil are Oleic, Linoleic, Palmitic, Stearic, Linolenic, and Palmitoleic acids. Oleic Acids (OMEGA-9) maintain the softness, suppleness, and radiance of skin and hair. It stimulates the growth of thicker, longer, and stronger hair.

Why Avocado Oil Oil?

Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil is a nourishing oil that is rich in vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids. It moisturises, strengthens, and repair parched and weakened hair. Avocado Oil helps to seal the cuticle of the hair to prevent breakage. It is a great source of natural antioxidants like vitamins A, C, D, and E. It provides skin-replenishing fatty acids, including omega-3 linolenic acid, omega-6 linoleic acid, oleic acid, and beta sitosterol.

Why Meadowfoam Oil?

Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil coats the hair without making it feel too heavy.

It helps to manage brittleness, tangles, dullness, and frizz, promoting a silky-smooth texture and vivacious sheen.

It functions as an emollient and softening agent in skin care and hair care products

Why CBD?

CBD (Cannabidiol) is the non-intoxicating component of cannabis or hemp plants. It is a popular natural remedy that has been used for many common ailments for thousands of years. CBD is one of over 100 beneficial chemical compounds known as cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant.

Research indicate that CBD:
  • Promote blood flow

  • Help to reduce swelling, pain, and redness
  • Have an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin cells
  • Improve skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
  • Is rich in antioxidants
  • Promote cell regeneration
  • Improves the scalp’s health
  • Keeps hair and skin moisturized
  • Binds with the hair follicles to prevent brittle hair
  • The Omega 3, 6, & 9 fatty & amino acids encourage hair growth

In an article published on the USA Government’s website National Library of Medicine dated 30 June 2021, the writer states that “Moreover, CBD treatment regulates proliferation via activation of CB1 receptor of keratinocytes in hair follicles” and “There are some reports that CBD can promote the growth of the hair. CBD oil contains high concentration of vitamin E, which can stimulate hair growth and help improvement of alopecia.” (baldness.)
